Grant Description:

Our sixth through eighth grade science courses include many experiments and projects.  In addition to the standard science equipment already at our school, we purchase a tremendous amount of consumable materials each year.  Our supply sources for the majority of these consumables are the local grocery and hardware stores in addition to Costco and Wal Mart.  We would like to create a fund that will reimburse our purchases at these stores.

How does this grant tie into your PLC:

WE have a very "hands-on" minded science PLC and having the funding for consumable materials will allow us to continue to design and offer these wonderful concrete experiences to our students.
